Show THE FOURTH ESTATE 5 5 Prominent Newspapers Writers Pay Salt Lake a Visit A party of prominent newspaper writers stopped over in the city yesterday terday on their way from the coast to Chicago and New York The party Included B A R Dobyns sporting writer for the United Press and whose report of the Carson fight was read by The Heralds thousands of subscribers N C Wright John P English and H L Beach general writers for the Associated Press The party was taken in charge by Manager McDaniel of The Herald and Mr Vigs the local agent of the Associated Asso-ciated Press and the tabernacle and other places of interest were visited during the forenoon At the tabernacle Professor Daynes favored the visitors with a brief organ recital In the afternoon ternoon the party was taken to Saltair on a special train a trip that was greatly enjoyed despite the unpropitious ous weather The newspaper men will leave for the east this evening |
