Show I 1 AT RICHFIELD William Hallows on Trial For Adul1 J tery Richfield April HThe sessions of court held yesterday were spent in trying try-ing the case of the state vs William Hallows adultery This case was tried a last October and a full report was f then given in The Herald As one juror was not properly sworn a new trial was afterwards granted When the case came up yesterday Prosecuting Prosecut-ing Attorney S L Page of Piute county appeared for the prosecution Prosecuting Prose-cuting Attorney McDaniel having previously pre-viously defended in the rase was disqualified dis-qualified Rapp and Bean were attorneys attor-neys for Hallows Yesterday forenoon was spent in obtaining T ob-taining jury and the jury selected were William Graham Joseph H lyle James H Fillmore S C Peterson H E Lisonbee George Charlesworth o J J Miller and Frank lyle 4 Miss Anna Sepulveda was the first t witness She testified to the date of her criminal connection with the defendant w defend-ant as she did last fall She further told of the birth of the child and its I subsequent death The date of birth substantiated the date she previously gave of the connection with Hallows l other witnesses for the state were I examined and one for the defense ing when court adjourned until this morn t |
