THE INAUGURAL BALL The Theatre Slay Yet bo Used and the Date Postponed The inaugural ball committees met at the chamber of commerce last evening At the meeting W H Rowe stated that Frank Dyer would donate the lighting of the hal which was I accepted with a vote of thanks Mr Simon asked for expression of i opinion as to the place of holding I Mr Burton made a proposition for the theatre at 10 I was moved that the ball be held at the Salt Lake theatre the week following the Presidents visit After some discussion it was agreed to let the whole matter go over until Monday night when D meeting of all the committees will be held Mr Wells chairman of the committee on music reported that they had engaged an orchestra of ten men for 60 until oclock and SI extra per hour for each man after that hour Mr Pavey of the committee on decora tions reported that ho had placed notices in the papers asking for all the donation decoration flags and other campaign materials for The auppqr committee reported that no meeting had been had
