Show Rites Held For John S. Moon James Smith Moon, age 80. of 1422 North Main. Farming-ton, Farming-ton, died Feb. 1. 1981 in Bountiful. Boun-tiful. Born Jan. 16. IWI in Farmington. a son of Phillip Westwood and Polly Isabel Smith Moon. Married Emma Taylor June 23. 1925 in Salt Lake City. A LIFELONG resident of Farmington he was a farmer and government worker. He attended Davis High School and was active in the Eighth Ward as a high priest. Survivors include his wife of Farmington: sons. John Taylor Moon. Fruit Heights; James Dean Moon. Farming-ton: Farming-ton: Phillip Robert Moon. Fruit Heights; Stanley Taylor Moon. Salt Lake City: daughter. daugh-ter. Mrs. Garrick (Marlene) Bowen. Farmington: 18 grandchildren, grand-children, two greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister. Mrs. Ravmon (Beth) Willey. Bountiful. Boun-tiful. FUNERAL services were held Feb. 4 in the Farmington Eighth Ward with Bishop Blaine J. Harris officiating. Family prayer by Don W. Manning: prelude and post-lude post-lude music by Mary Lou Lloyd: musical selections by Garrick Bowen and Vauna Taylor; invocation by Melvin Taylor. The Farmington Eighth Ward Relief Society was in charge of the flowers and dedication de-dication of the grave was by John T. Moon.
