Show Crossroads By KELLIE BARNETT The physics students of Woods Cross have been at it again with their yearly bridge building contest, Taking first place, and breaking the school's record by 300 lbs. was Tot! 2 Schwendiman with 1559 lb. Second place was Keith AUred with 1328 and third was Tadd Schwendiman with 1206. THE HOME Economics Association are doing a great job in their charge of HEA Week with their heart cookie ' wishes and red. pink and white carnations which may be sent to your favorite sweetheart on Valentines Day. The highlight of the week will be the Sweetheart Presence Pres-ence Dance on Feb. 14. Reigning Reign-ing as sweetheart at the ball will be Lisa Whetman. Preferred Prefer-red Man will be Alan New-bold. New-bold. The theme for the dance will be "The Rose" the music by Eclipse. Dance time from 8-11 p.m. THE JAZZ band will travel to West today for region competition. com-petition. Our big WCHS Band will be competing for first place honors. Throughout the past three years the jazz band has never taken anything but first place. Region swimming will be held this week at South on Feb. 12-13. Our team has done an excellent job with a three win one tie record. At region finals our men definately plan on coming out on top! OCR GIRLS basketball team is doing an excellent job this season. They will play Highland this Friday at Highland. High-land. One of the most exciting events of the year will be happening hap-pening this week on the 12th and 14th at Weber State College Col-lege state wrestling! This is an event worth watching for all the Wildcats! |
