J: ; In the short time that Rocky Mountain State Bank of Bountiful Boun-tiful has been open for business busi-ness in Davis County, over 4.000 county residents have opened checking and savings accounts with the bank. This announcement was made by C. Alan Murdock, president of Rocky Mountain Bancorp, parent pa-rent company of the Bountiful bank. "THIS TREMENDOUS response re-sponse by the Davis County community has exceeded our projected goals for bank de posits." stated Mr. Murdock. "We're thrilled!" The bank recently re-cently surpassed the six million mil-lion dollar mark for deposits and already the bank's board of directors are adjusting the bank's projected asset goals upwards. Dr. George S. Diumenti. M.D., chairman of the board, attributes the bank's rapid growth to several factors. He feels the friendly but efficient attitudes of bank officers and staff have made it an enjoyable place to conduct financial transactions. He also pointed out that many of the board of directors are Bountiful residents, resi-dents, and feels this contributes contri-butes to the "neighborhood" posture of the bank and helps in decisions as to what services the bank should offer. "ABOVE ALL, we're very grateful to area residents for the tremendous reception they've given the bank. We were delighted recently with the grand opening of the bank building that so many residents have accepted us as part of their community," Dr. Diumenti stated.
