Show Farmingta Mews By KATHRYN JENNLNGS 451-2027 Paulette Darrough is a houseguest of the Steve and Mary Kay Border family. The visitor is from Denver, Colo, and is an old high school friend of Mary Kay's. Esther Daub is recuperating at the home of Hugh and Charlotte Char-lotte Robbins in northwest Farmington. Esther will remain re-main with her daughter and family until she is improved. Compton Bench DUP Camp met Wednesday with Erla Pehrson for a regular meeting. The April meeting will be a tour of pioneer homes in the Bountiful area. The young men and young women of Farmington Sixth Ward will have a special dinner party on March 24. The Priest and Laurel classes will cook dinner for the entire group which will be held in the Compton Com-pton Chapel at 7 p.m. Holly Nielson and David Johnson are youth leaders and Diane Ferrin is the adult leader. There will be a cub scout derby on March 30 for the Farmington Sixth Ward. This event will be held in the Compton Com-pton Bench Chapel at 7 p.m. with Calvin Ferris as leader. Judy Peterson has been sustained sus-tained as the president of the Relief Society of the Farming-ton Farming-ton Second Ward. First counselor coun-selor is Rita Davis and Second counselor is Loraine Dyer. The Tenth Ward Relief Society Soci-ety will have Dorene Poulsen serving as new president; Kar-la Kar-la Smith will be first counselor, with Marlene Bowen as second counselor. Secretary is Rhea Manning. The Steed Creek DUP Camp has elected new officers for 1982-83. They are: Linda Fleisher, captain; Karla Smith, first vice captain; Carol Taylor, second captain; Diane Peterson, secretary-treasurer; Carol Ord, registrar; Pat Potter, Pot-ter, historian; Marlene Bowen, chorister; Bernice Smith, lesson leader. Pat Potter Pot-ter is the retiring captain. - Gail and LaVon Wagner entertained en-tertained several of LaVon's sisters and husbands for a reunion lunch on Tuesday. Guests included Glen and Arlene Willey from Georgia; Rolan and Bernice Barnes of Kaysville, and Victor and Colleen Col-leen Johnson of Bountiful. The Willeys are also visiting their children who live in the area. |
