Show Bountiful Wews By RITA BROWN 295-2790 It is that time of year when thoughts of vacations start running through peoples minds. It doesn't always mean a long trip to some exciting place, just a picnic in the canyon ca-nyon is a thrill for some. The weather in the canyons is not warm enough for picnics but that doesn't stop everyone from thinking how nice it would be. The first warm weeks and everyone gets the wanderlust. Picnics, trips, working in the yard to get rid of winters accumulation accu-mulation of junk are things people think of this time of year. Spring is a beautiful time of year. There is such a promise of renewal and hope. Let's hope that promises come true and all our dreams for this summer come true. Robert Rudd is working for a new beginning. He is going to a school of broadcasting this spring. In the Birthday Corner this week are Norm Ainscough. Anne Ainscough. Connie Chatlin, Jennifer Atwood. Brad Chatlin and Gale Martin. Many Happy returns. Lyman and Bernice Porter are flying down to San Jose to visit their son. Robin and his family. After the visit, Robin will drive all back to Bountiful. Brian Wall, son of Bishop Gary and Joan Wall, is home from his mission. Bishop Wall drove to California to meet him and bring him home. Francine Johnson has been 1 called as new counselor in the Primary. Lance Regis has reached the age of 16. He received his driver's license and was ordained a Priest. |
