For those who might be in Florida, here are the cities where the teams train: Atlanta Braves West Palm Beach, Kansas City Royals Ft. Myers, Detroit Tigers Lakeland, Lake-land, Los Angeles Dodgers Vero Beach, Chicago White Sox Sarasota, Baltimore Orioles Miami, St. Louis Cardinals St. Petersburg; BOSTON RED Sox Winter Win-ter Haven, Cincinnati Reds Tampa, Montreal Expos West Palm Beach, Texas Ran-gers Ran-gers Pompano Beach, Toronto Blue Jays Dunedin, New York Mets St. Petersburg, Peters-burg, Philadelphia Phillies Clearwater, Minnesota Twins Orlando, Pittsburgh Pirates Brandenton. Usually, exhibitions are not sellouts. Most games are played play-ed in daylight, beginning at 1:30 p.m. But there are night games--the Yankees playing the most, eight, and the Tigers and Orioles playing five. They begin at 7:30 or 8 p.m. |
