She was here to at- tend the Eight and Forty Marche held at the Cotton-i Cotton-i : wood Country Club last Sa-j Sa-j : turday. She has been spend-! spend-! ing many days at the 1 Trowbridge summer cabin. Mrs. Robert Keddington : and her daughter, Mrs. I Micheal Parker, spent the weekend in Preston, Idaho as guests of Jean's sister. En route home they stopped for lunch with Dr. and Mrs. Wallace E. Hess who are remodeling an apartment in Logan. Miss Dolores DeCarli and Miss Cecile Paynter of San Francisco, Calif, were guests of Mrs. Bertha Muir last Friday. They are sixth grade school teachers in a school near San Francisco. They teach archeology to a group of students who are from six different nationalities. nationali-ties. They met with Dr. Jennings of the University of Utah. The two girls are writing a test book on archeology from sixth grade students. Dr. Jennings, who is a noted archeologist, gave then much help for their book. They will spend two weeks at Jackson Hole, Wyo. where they will work on their text book which they hope to publish soon. They will tour many points of interest en route home. They expect to be in San Francisco by August 31. Miss DeCarli is a second cousin of Mr. Muir. The executive committee of the Jessamine Literary Club met recently at the home of Mrs. Edward Garrett, club president. Committees were appointed and plans made for regular club meetings to begin on the second Saturday of October. |
