Show MAFB Awards HILL AFB - Three Davis County residents employed at Hill Air Force Base have divided up $2,490 in cash for their time and money-saving ideas. THEIR IDEAS are expected to save the Air Force about $88,000 the first year. Recipients of the awards are George L. Cain, $950; Roger C. Murray of Layton, $730; and Boyd L. Peterson, Bountiful, $810. MR. CAIN'S idea was to improve repair procedures for aircraft parts. He is a machinist in the Maintenance Directorate. Mr. Murray, a pneudraulic system mechanic, came up with an idea to save money by devising devis-ing repair procedures on parts previously thought to be - condemned; and Mr. Peterson, Peter-son, a visual information specialist, devised more economical drafting procedures to save the government money. |
