Show i - ' NORMA ADAMS SMITH Services Held Funeral services were held on Thursday, Aug. 10 at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary Mor-tuary Chapel for Norma Adams Smith. MRS. SMITH, 79 of 326 S. Main, Centerville, died Aug. 7, 1978 at South Davis Community Com-munity Care Center of a lingering lin-gering illness. She was born in Centerville to John Adams and Elizabeth Ann Cleveland on Aug. 19, 1898. Married Carl N. Smith on April 29, 1925 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. SHE WAS a life-long resident of Centerville, member of Centerville 11th Ward, active in auxiliary organizations; or-ganizations; member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Survived by husband, Centerville; Cen-terville; three daughters. Mrs. Blair (Luana) Barton, Centerville; Mrs. Hugh (Shirlene) Hendersen, Salt Lake City; Ms. Marilou Smith, Centerville; 19 grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. BISHOP CHARLES F. Fuller of the Centerville 11th Ward conducted the services. Family prayer was by Blair Barton; prelude and postlude music, Sylvia Tingey; invocation, in-vocation, William W. Tingey. Bishop's remarks, Charles F. Fuller; speaker, Frank Hirschi; organ medley, Sylvia Syl-via Tingey; "Parable for Mothers" by Mary Ila Flinders; remarks, Derrell Tingey; musical selection, "Hold Thou My Hand" by Roma West, accompanied by Sylvia Tingey; benediction, Franklin Walton; dedication of grave, Hugh Henderson; interment in Centerville City Cemetery. PALLBEARERS were Kaye Barton, Val Barton, Kent Barton, Joe English, Delbert Noble and Willard Meeks. |
