Show (S3G Em Go Mold Bills FARMINGTON - The Davis County Commission has balked at paying two bills and took under advisement a request for payment of a third bill. BY FAR the largest bill being studied by the commission commis-sion is one for 130,000 to reimburse the Department of Transportation for engineering engineer-ing work done on a joint storm drain project in Bountiful. Boun-tiful. The request came from the DOT for engineering costs on a flood control project involving in-volving Barton Creek at 400 North and 200 West. DOT OFFICIALS previously told the commission commis-sion that the county's portion of the storm drainage project would be $56,000. "We would not have participated par-ticipated in the project if we had known the additional engineering en-gineering costs," said Commissioner Com-missioner Glen W. Flint. "The commission is objecting to the fee because it would have been less costly to have had a consulting enngineer do the work." THUS, A letter was authorized to be sent to the DOT requesting more information infor-mation concerning the engineering en-gineering costs. On a smaller sale, the commission com-mission took under advisement ad-visement a request for $350 to meet recent pay increases adopted by the commission for full-time employees of the county's nutrition program. COUNTY CLERK Rodney Walker said the nutrition budget does not currently have funds to allow for the increase. At the same time, the commission com-mission declined a request for $875 from the nutrition department for pay increases for part-time employees.
