Parley's Park Council The Parley's Park Community Council-PTA meeting will be held Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 9:30 a.m. at the Elementary School. Discussion will include the school year calendar, report cards, and Friday option classes. You are encouraged to attend. No appointment is necessary. Influenza vaccine is available. (128) Blood pressure clinic The Summit County Health Department will sponsor a blood pressure clinic on Wednesday, Dec. 14 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Park Meadows Plaza office. No appointment is necessary. (128) Well child clinic The Summit County Health Department will hold its monthly month-ly well child clinic on Wednesday, Dec. 21. (12715) Library board meeting The Park City Library Board of Directors will meet Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. on the third floor of the library. (128) Christmas sponsors needed s Christmas is one of the most joyous and family-oriented times of the year, but for patients at the Utah State Hospital, who have no family support, it could be the loneliest season. ' This year 200 patients ranging in age from 6 to 90 are in need of help. Under hospital supervision interested individuals, in-dividuals, clubs, church groups, etc., have the opportunity to sponsor individual patients by providing new Christmas gifts. Anyone who would enjoy providing this worthwhile service may call Janina Chilton at 373-4400, ext 240, and be given a patient's name and a list of gift suggestions (a cash donation will also be welcome). Volunteers will do the shopping. (1215) Business license renewal Business license renewal forms will be mailed out the first week of December. All persons who renew their business licenses before Jan. 15, 1984, will receive a 10 percent discount on the 1984 business license fee. ( 12 15 ) Liquor license renewal Liquor license renewal forms were mailed out in October. Applications for renewal are due Dec. 31. 1983. ADDlications not filed with Park City Municipal Corp. by that date will have established a violation of their license and will be subject sub-ject to closure on Jan. 1, 1984. ( 1215) TMMS Community Council The Treasure Mountain Middle School will have its Community Com-munity Council meeting on Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. in the Media Center. Cen-ter. All parents are invited. (128) Community Christmas party The Recreation Department will once again sponsor the annual community Christmas celebration in the Memorial Building with dancers and gymnasts, and Santa Claus to culminate the event. It's all happening Saturday Dec. 17 beginning at 4 p.m. with craft-making and continuing until 6 p.m. Call 649-9461 for more information. Snow crews are constantly working to keep roads clear, and additional help from residents is appreciated. (1215) Decorate the Kimball tree The Park City Men's Coalition would like all interested "kids" to decorate the Kimball Art Center Christmas tree Friday, Dec. 9 after 4 p.m. Bring your decorations. Kid may stop by throughout the day and make an ornament for the tree. Craft supplies will be provided. A special program of Christmas songs and stories will be presented by Renae Daines at 2 p.m. (128) Volunteer firefighters needed The Park City Fire Department is taking applications for volunteer firefighters through Jan. 1, 1984. Applicants must be healthy, live in the Park City Fire District, have a good driving record, and be willing to devote Thursday evenings to learning something new. (128) ChamberBureau board vacancies The ChamberBureau is now accepting applications for seven vacancies on the ChamberBureau Board of Directors. Applicants must be ChamberBureau members and have served on a ChamberBureau committee during the past year. Applications can be picked up at the ChamberBureau office of-fice and must be returned by Dec. 9. (128) Bus loading zones Park City Transit will provide full schedule service beginning begin-ning Dec. 10. Transportation brochures will be available on every bus or may be obtained at the transportation office , located at 1425 Woodbine Ave. (behind Anderson Lumber). L For delivery of brochures, please call 649-6660 stating , business, address, and quantity of brochures. To facilitate a smooth and continuous traffic flow in the Main Street area, four bus loading zones have been established: at the Treasure Mountain Inn; at Utah Power and Light; directly across from the Claim jumper Hotel; and on Heber Avenue at the Silver Queen Hotel. These areas are zoned "no parking tow away." Vehicles parked in these areas are subject to impound. Park City Transit will appreciate ap-preciate your cooperation in this matter.
