Show Funeral Services Friday for Mrs. Clara Rigfrup Funeral services for Mrs. Clara C. Rigtrup, who died Wednesday morning at her home here, will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the First ward chapel, directed by Bishop R. W. Bradford. Friends may call at the family residence, 915 South Fourth East street,. Thursday evening after 6:30 p.m., and before the services Friday. Burial will be in the Spanish Span-ish Fork city cemetery directed by Claudin Funeral Home. Mrs. Rigtrup was born January Janu-ary 13, 1882, a daughter of Joseph Jos-eph and Prudence Straw Cherring-ton. Cherring-ton. On April 27, 1905, she was married to Hans C. Rigtrup and they made their home in Spanish Fork until 1922, when they moved to Springville. Mr. Rigtrup died June 4, 1950. Mrs. Rigtrup has always been active in LDS church work, serving serv-ing as a visiting teacher in the Relief Society here and in Spanish Fork. With her husband, she assisted as-sisted in the care of the First ward church for 14 years. She was the mother of seven sons and daughters, three sons having preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Reed L. and Frank A. Rigtrup of Springville; Mrs. Herbert (Marie) Isom of Hurricane and Mrs. Loyd (Lois) Thurber of Gooding, Ida.; also 15 grandchildren and the following fol-lowing brothers and sisters, A. W. Cherrington, J. U. Cherring-ton, Cherring-ton, Mrs. Deal Miller, Mrs. Prudence Pru-dence Palfreyman all of Springville; Spring-ville; Mrs. Marie Mendenhall of Paygon, Melvin Cherrington of Provo; Mrs. Minnie Dennison of Los Angeles, Calif; Mrs. Sue Thomas of Idaho Falls, Ida. |
