Show . MARRIED IN TEMPLE Mrs. LaVeda Titcomb became Mrs. William Bond in a ceremony cere-mony performed in the Manti Temple on Dec. 27. The newly-weds newly-weds journeyed to California to attend the Rose Bowl game and festivities for their honeymoon. They will reside in Heber. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Young, accompanied ' by their daughter and Mrs. Alma Smith, of Bridgeland, went to Provo over Tuesday and Wednesday of last week. Arnold Powell has received his discharge from the Army and is expected home anv day, as he has phoned his mother from Salt Lake. He has been in the service for two years. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle L. Young served a delicious turkey dinner to guests on Sunday. The dinner was in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Toe Walters. In addition to Mr. and Mrs. Walters as dinner Tuests were, Mr. and Mrs. Mai-;olm Mai-;olm Walters and Ruth Walters, of Bridgeland; Mr. and Mrs. La-mont La-mont Nielson and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Young, Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Holmes, of Spring-ville; Spring-ville; Lynn John and Miss Betty Dublin, both of Provo. Mrs. Mary C. Snyder has re-seived re-seived word of the birth of her econd grandchild, a son. born to Mr. and Mrs. Phil Snyder, of Salt Lake, on Dec. 24. Raymond Lister is home after his recent discharge from the Army, in which he has served for two years. He has been stationed sta-tioned in the Panama area. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Young attended the wedding reception at Bridegland for Mr. and Mrs. Joe Walters, who' were married in the Salt Lake Temple on Dec. 8. , The reception was on Friday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Hartman visited for three days during the holidays with friends in Spanish Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Titcomb, of Roosevelt, were dinner guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Swallow. William Evans took his son, Don, to Provo on Friday of last week, where Don will resume his studies at the BYU. He will room with Udell Winkler, of Bluebell. |
