OCR Text	Show Eightieth Birthday Is Celebrated by Mrs. Calvin Connell An open house, sponsored by nieces of Mrs. Calvin C. Connell, was held in Mrs. Connell's honor hon-or June 6. The affair was held at the Connell home and was in honor of that lady's 80th birthday. birth-day. A number of relatives, neighbors and friends called during dur-ing the evening to wish her a happy birthday. Mr. and Ms. Connell celebrated celebrat-ed their golden wedding anniversary anniver-sary on May 19, we are informed, with many of their relatives and friends calling on them during the day. Calvin observed his 83rd birthday birth-day earlier in May with his usual us-ual work procedure. He has been engaged in caring for sheep for the major part of his life and still is engaged in that occupation occupa-tion much of the rime.
