Show WALTER JOHNSON IS GIVEN LITTLE HELP By International News Service. CHICAGO, May 27. Walter Johnson might have given Eddie Cicotte quite an argument if he had been given airtictit support this afternoon, but his Senatorial teammates put up a weak defense, and the White Sox won. 4 to 1. The Sox tallied first as an indirect result re-sult of Crane's boot of a hard grounder, but earned their second tally in the thipi. Johnson tightened up and from the start of the fourth to the end of the seventh the natives got not the semblance of a hit. The eighth produced three singles, but even with these the Sox would not have scored if Crane had not obligingly dropped a poo-tip. Cicotte was in danger only twice. WASHINGTON-CHICAGO.
