Show MOTHER DIES, SON ILL OF POISONING Only a few minutes after his mother, Mrs. Mary Barker, 211 Edith avenue, had iied of ptomaine poisoning last night, Frank Barker, 45 years of age, an elec-:rician elec-:rician employed at the Salt Lake thea-:er, thea-:er, was rushed to the county hospital, stricken with the same ailment. His condition con-dition was reported to be critical at a a te hour this morning. The poisoning tvas caused by a dish of pickled beets Mrs. Barker and her son ate Friday night. Mrs. Barker was a Mormon pioneer. Born in Kirtlanrl. Ohio,. June 2S, 1?3S, she :ame to Pall Lake from Xauvoo, 111., with ler parents,' in 1S4P. She is survived by :hree sons.
