' Bandmaster Goetz Preparing Prepar-ing Special Programme for Fort Visitors. AMCSrCAL treat for the people of Salt Lake is- promised for Tuesday Tues-day afternoon at Fort Douglas when the Twentieth infantry band, known as one. of the best military bruin's in the United States army, will give a ''home coming'' concert at the fort. Bandmaster Aotone Goetz announced yesterday that he is preparing a special programme of music for the first concert and a treat is promised those who make it a point to visit the fort at 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The concert will be from 4 to 5 o'clock. It had been intended to give the first concert of the season yesterday afternoon, after-noon, but owing to the fact that the music and instruments of the bandmen were not all unpacked and the men had had no opportunity to practice it was decided to change the date of the first concert from Sunday to Tuesday after- i noon. j The special programme of music for the concert tomorrow afternoon will be issued today by Director Goetz and will be published tomorrow morning. i Trie band has twenty-eight pieces at present and made a decided "hit" on, the Mexican border at Fort Bliss, El Paso, Texas, where it was very actively i in use. It headed the big parade of 2(3,000 soldiers, who turned out in the ' great militarv parade " in El Paso on Julv 4 last.
