George William Farratt died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. A. Swenson, 324 D street. He was MJ years of age. Mr. Parratt was born in Bath, county of Somerset, England, June H. 1S37, and emigrated to Utah in arriving with Warren Snow's company of pioneers November No-vember 2 of that year. A cabinet maker by trade, hp entered the employ of the Dinwoodey Furniture company in ls64. and remained there until un-til the time of his death. Mr. Parratt is survived by eight children, Mrs. E. A. Swenson, Mrs. Annie Sen an k, Andrew Parratt, Pelhert Parratt, Par-ratt, Fred Parratt, Mrs. Ethel Reimers and Francis Parratt of Salt Lake, and Mrs. Ida McBride of Tooele, Utah. He also leaves nineteen grandchildren. Funeral services will be held In the Twentieth ward chapel Tuesday, May 29, at 12: 30. The body may be viewed at the residence, 324 D street, between 10 ; and 12 o'clock in the morning. I |
