Show Cedar City Juvenile Judge Honored By Utah State Bar STERLING BOSSARD Judge Sterling R. Bossard, I Judge of the Fourth District Juvenile Court, with head-1 quarters in Cedar City, was elected president-elect of the Utah State Bar at the organizations organ-izations 37th annual convention conven-tion held June 12-14 in Ogden. Elected president for the 19-68-69 year was Scott Matheson Mathe-son of Salt Lake City, a native of Parowan and a former practicing attorney in Iron County. Judge Bossard will succeed Matheson to the presidency pres-idency of the state-wide or-ganization. or-ganization. i Also elected at the convention conven-tion was LaVar E. Stark, Ogden, Og-den, as Bar Commissioner, representing rep-resenting the Second Distrist. E. Thomas Greene and Arthur T. Nielson, both of Salt Lake City, were elected commis-sionsrs commis-sionsrs representing the Third District. Judge Bossard indicated that the convention had the largest attendance of any meeting in recent years. j |
