Show I Four Students fire Named for President's Award work with underpriviledged children. Mr. Kobinson is a son of Mr. and Mrs. U. liobinson, Parowan. Paro-wan. He is presently serving a mission in California for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He attended Dixie Colleg.9 on a scholarship and was active in drama and student affairs. He Is a graduate grad-uate of Parowan High School where he was student body vice president, a member of the student council, and student stu-dent speaker for graduation exercises. He attend the State Senate Youth Conference, National Na-tional Guard Freedom Academy, Acad-emy, and Model United Nations. Na-tions. 1 1.3 was an American Legion oratory contest winner and was active in student publications, pub-lications, music, and drama. Miss Crosby is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nell T. Cros. by, Kanab. She was salutator! ian at the 1965 Kanab High School Commencement, and won awards as the out'stand-ing out'stand-ing music and home econom-ics econom-ics student. She maintained a 3.46 grade point average at Dixie College and plans to continue her major In elementary elem-entary education at CSU. Mr. Lawrence ls a son of Don P. Lawrence, Salt Lake City. He graduated from Granger Gran-ger High School In 1964, where he was a member of the All State Band, All Church Sym-phony Sym-phony of the LDS Church, and won the Future Farmers of America speech contest. He received a scholarship to Col-lege Col-lege of Eastern Utah, which he attended before leaving for an LDS mission. His major field of study is biology. I Four Utah students have been named recipients of Pres. ident's Awards to attend College Col-lege of Southern Utah, it was announced by John Q. Cannon, Can-non, coordinator of placement and financial aids at CSU. The special awards have been initiated by CSU President Royclen C. Braithwaite for outstanding out-standing transfer students. Kathryn S. Havell, Salt Lake City; Norman Reed Robinson, Parowan; Marie Adele Crosby, Kanab, and Stephen Lee Lawrence, Law-rence, Granger, will receive full tuition scholarships for the 1968-69 school year. Miss Havell is a daughter of Mrs. Dora L. Havell, Salt Lake City. She graduated from Skyline High School in 1966 and has been an honor student at Westminster College. Col-lege. She . plans to continue h?r studies as a sociology major with future plans to |
