The Utah Rapid transit company's officers of-ficers w.U be aoout tho same as those of the Utah-Idaho Central railroad company and the head oi-eraung officials will probacy prob-acy be the same. The main object of the separation oi the interurban and city systems Is for simplifying the operation of the lines. In addition to the city car lines of Osden and Logan the L'tah Rapid Transit will also take over the car line through Ogden canyon to Huntsvllle. In connection with the segregation of the two systems, a move has been started by the merchants of Ogden to secure municipal mu-nicipal ownership of the city's street railway rail-way system. A committee has been conducting con-ducting an investigation of the matter. It is said that tho committee will probably prob-ably ha e a report and recommendation upon tae matter within a week. |
