Show COAST GRID TITLE HANGS IN BALANCE SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 23. The Universities Uni-versities of Washington, Oregon and California Cali-fornia and Stanford are out in front In the 'race for the Pacific coast conference football championship as the result of yesterday's games. Each has one defeat on its records. Thanksgiving day games, wherein California Cali-fornia meets Washington university at Seattle and Stanford meets University or Southern California at Los Angeles, are expected to determine which team shall represent the west in the annual meeting with an eastern eleven held at Pasadena, Cal., New Year day. In case of apparent even records held by California and any other university, the California players, j it is thought, would be chosen. |
