Assistant District Attorney i O'Shaughnessy said ho had obtained! from Simplcin a voluntary confession that he had come to this city to kill J. P. Morgan, but had found ho was dead, and that he then planned tojcill former Representative G- 13. Miller of Dululh. "I am not sorry for what I did," Simpkin was quoted as .saying. "I'.m only sorry for Dr. Markoo's wife. .My heart aches for her. If I had a chance, I'd do it all over again." Simpkin appeared cool and collected collect-ed when ho was arraigned.
