Show Jackie Harris, George SlackWed In Quiet Home Rites Miss Jackie Harris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Harris, became be-came the bride of George Slack, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Slack, at the home of the groom's parents par-ents Friday evening, July 2 Bishop James Heywod officiated officiat-ed at the early evening ceremony which was attended by relatives and dose friends of both families. The bride chose as her wedding dress a ballerina length gown of pink embossed cotton, and carried car-ried a bouquet of pink and white carnations. The groom's cousin, Jay Slack, was best man. The bride's only attendant was Miss Jeannette Flannigan, who wore a pastel green gown fashioned after that of the bride. Her flowers flow-ers were white daisies tied with pink. The mother of the bride wore a blue cotton afternoon dress and Mrs. Slack wore pink nylon. Both mothers had corsages of white daisies. The couple left immediately following the ceremony for a honeymoon trip to Yellowstone national park. |
