Show City Recreation Head Lists New Municipal Pool Hours Willis Wynn, city recreation coordinator, announced this week a change in time for swimming lessons being given at the municipal muni-cipal pool. Days for boys, girls, adults and out of towners will remain the same, but a division in non-swimmers and swimmers has been made because of the great number of residents who are participating. A total of 572 children and adults have taken advantage of the free swim and instruction program. A breakdown is as follows: fol-lows: Girls, 197; adults, 45; boys, 130; lifesaving. 15 and county-part county-part icipants, 1S5. Following is the revised schedule: sched-ule: Tuesday, girls' day, 10 a. m.; non-swimmers, 10:30, beginners must be able to float or swim for a short distance; 11:15, swimmers. swim-mers. Wednesday, adults 10 a. m. to 12 noon. Thursday: boys' day, 10 a. m., non swimmers; 10:30, beginners, and 11:15, swimmers. Friday, life saving instruction: 10 a. m. to 12 noon. Participants must be 12 years of age, and be able to swim competently on the front and back crawl strokes. Saturday: county day, 9:45 Newcastle, Enoch, Kanarraville, Midvalley and Hamilton's Fort; 10:30, Parowan, Paragonah, Summit Sum-mit and all who ride on the bus with this group. |
