Show Geneva Resumes Tuesday Tours More than 100,000 persons have toured Geneva steel plant since it began operation as a U. S. Steel Corp. subsidiary, C. L. Waggoner, general superintendent, disclosed when he announced resumption of Tuesday tours for visitors during the summer and fall months. The Tuesday tours, which can be arranged by calling or writing to the training division of Geneva Steel Co. by the Friday preceding the tour which begin at 9:30 a.m., at gate house No. 1 of Geneva plant. Approximate time of the trip is two and one-half hours. Mr. Waggoner listed the following fol-lowing regulations which members of the tour parties should keep in mind: All visitors should be at least 16 years of age, some form of covering should be worn in the head, cameras are not alowed, and all visitors should be Americans. Visitors from foreign lands can be properly cleared if names and addresses are submitted at least three days in advance of the scheduled sched-uled tour. "While it is hoped," Mr. Waggoner Wag-goner said, "that the Tuesday tours will take care' of most visitors, visi-tors, Geneva's training division will consider requests for special tours from Monday through Friday." |
