Blaine Thorpe, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Thorpe, has accepted a call to serve in the LDS Canadian Cana-dian mission. He will leave about May 6. Also Harry Zabriskie is leaving soon for the Texas mission mis-sion and Frank Riggs is going to the Texas mission also. Morris Bird is convalescing at a Salt Lake hospital for an operation opera-tion for appendicitis. Mrs. A. W. Cherrington and daughter, Jane have returned from an enjoyable five weeks' visit with Mrs. W. B. Murdock and family at Chicago. A number of friends surprised Howard Brinton at his home Friday Fri-day evening, enjoying the time with games and lunch. |
