Show Round-n' About Town Mr. and Mrs. Jay F. Hennefer of Salt Lake City, and their small son and daughter, Anne and Bill, were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Leland McKensie. After visiting vis-iting the art gallery, they were entertained Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Oral Franson. Mr. Hennefer is art instructor in-structor at Olympus High School at Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Lazell Bale and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bale visited recently with relatives and friends in Santa Barbara and San Francisco, Fran-cisco, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Nelson and two sons of Ogden spent Sunday in Springville with Mrs. Nelson's mother, Mrs. Laura Clegg and other relatives and friends. Mr. Nelson is superintendent of the state Deaf and Blind School at Ogden. Ronda H. Jenkins. Paul Ence, Clark W. Nelson and Melvin Whiting, Whit-ing, Springville are among 24 students stu-dents entering the annual photography photo-graphy exhibit prepared by students stu-dents of the press photography class at Brigham Toung University. Univer-sity. A wide variety of photographic subjects and techniques are represented, repre-sented, including two pictures stories stor-ies taken from campus life. Word has been received by Dr. and Mrs. D. E. Ottesen that their son, Elder Keith Ottesen, laboring in the Northwestern States mission mis-sion has been made district president presi-dent of the Corvillas district in Southern Oregon. Mrs. Eva Higbee of St. George has returned to her home after several days visit with her daughter dau-ghter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Palfreyman and family. Also Lamond Hugbee, brother of Mrs. Palfreyman, is visiting at the Palfreyman home. Mrs. Lillian B. Corry recently returned from Bakersfield, Calif, where she visited her sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Paul C. Miner. W. Kent Corry, son of Mrs. Lillian Lil-lian B. Corry, is here from Minneapolis Min-neapolis visiting his mother. |
