Show Local Kiwaoians Guests Of Spanish Fork Club There will be no meeting of the Kiwanis club this evening, the meeting of the club with Spanish Fork Monday evening at Spanish Pork having taken the place of the weekly meet, announced President Victor Frandsen. Carrol Liechty, recently returned return-ed from the European mission for the LDS church, and Miss Andree Hasoppe of Salt Lake City, a stu-. stu-. dent of the BYU and a native of Belgium, were speakers furnished by the Springville Kiwanians. They gave interesting accounts of the people of Belgium and told of the effects of the war on this country and its people. The program was under direction direc-tion of Glen Coffman, toastmaster, and was attended by approximately approximate-ly thirty - six members from Springville. The next meeting of fhe club is announced for Thursday evening May 5, as an FFA program under direction of Arthur Condie |
