Show Quilting, Lunch Enjoyed At Club Quilting, visiting and the serving of a tasty luncheon furnished enjoyable en-joyable pastime for members of the Mapleton Needlecraft Club when they met with Mrs. Blanch Tew on Thursday of last week. Assisting Mrs. Tew with the lunch were, Mrs. Arlena Holley, Mrs. Birdie Nielson, Mrs. Norma Adamson and Mrs. Eva Bird. It was decided to hold the next meeting meet-ing on Thursday April 5. at the home of Mrs. Sadie Whiting. Attending the social last week were: Mrs. Harriet Nielson, Mrs. Birdi Nielson, Mrs. Norman Adamson, Mrs. Ella Johnson, Mrs. Esther Hurst, Mrs. Gwen Allan, Mrs. Arlena Holley, Mrs. Inez Har-mer, Har-mer, Mrs. Jennie Tew, Mrs. Laura Bird, Mrs. Marva Whiting, Mrs. Pearl Holley, Mrs. Senate Menden-hall, Menden-hall, Mrs. Vanda Jensen. Mrs. C. H. Thorstesen and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thortesen of Ogden Og-den visited at the home of Mrs. Emily Crandall during the week and also enjoyed a visit at the Art Gallery. Also Mr. and Mrs. D. Ford Crandall of Salt Lake City were Sunday visitors at the home of Mrs. Crandall and spent some time at the art. John C. Condie, Springville, is one of 39 Brigham Young University Univer-sity students to make the winter honor roll. The honor roll includes students who have completed 16 or more hours of A grade work. Of the 39 students on the list, 26 are men and 13 women. Mrs. Charles Lutz and family of Salt Lake City were week-end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Weight. |
