Los Angeles Warns Job Seekers of No Work Problem The Springville Chamber of Commerce this week received a communication from the Los Angeles, Ang-eles, Calif., manager of the Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce stating that there had been a series of small but universal layoffs in the Los Angeles metropolitan area and with the many who are coming into Los Angeles seeking work, the problem of non-employment is becoming critical. The letter stated that presntly it was estimated that in excess of 65.000 ex-service men were out of work and in view of this fact the local Chamber was requested to help solve the problem by informing inform-ing people of this community who plan to migrate to Los Angeles, of the serious unemployment problem.
