Show Bonnie Cook named director of nurses at VV Hospital Salt Lake County and Salt Lake City Fire Departments. Depart-ments. Bonnie has supplemented her work in nursing with continued community involvement, in-volvement, serving as a health instructor for various civic and community organizations and as president of the Parent Teacher's Association at Rolling Meadows Elementary in Granger. "We are excited to have Bonnie join us", commented Reggie Hughes, VVMC Administrator, "We feel very fortunate to have a person with her skills in nursing and management on the staff, and know that she will be a tremendous addition ad-dition to our hospital management team." Bonnie Dee Cook has been named as the Director of Nursing at Valley View Medical Center, it was announced by Reginald Hughest hospital administrator. ad-ministrator. She replaces Karla Dalley who resigned the latter part of May to pursue a Master's Degree in nursing. Bonnie come to VVMC from Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City where she has been working as the Director of Nursing Staff Development Develop-ment and Patient Education. She also recently graduated with honors from the University of Utah with a Master's Degree in Nursing Administration, with an emphasis in physiological nursing. i Prior to he position at Holy Cross Hospital, Bonnie worked as the Inservice Director at American Fork Hospital in American Fork, and as a staff nurse and I charge nurse at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden. She has a . broad background as a J nursing continuning I education instructor, in- eluding expertise in such I areas as coronary care, I Geriatrics, management, I diabetes, and Emergency j First Aid, and has taught .
