Show "My Turn on Earth" Po pulor Pro ductio n Seen by over 500,000 theatre-goers throughout the United States and Canada, England and Australia, the exciting family musical, "My Turn On Earth," will perform a limited engagement at Parowan '1 High School Auditorum.on Saturday, July 5, at 8 p.m. I Under contract with Embryo Music Company in Los Angeles, this production is being presented by Ardis K. Productions based in Provo, Utah. Music for the showwas written by King Family member Lex de Azevedo., the brilliant young composer and musical director of the Sonny and Cher Show, The Sonny Bono Comedy Review, Dick Van Dyke Show and many others. His many TV, stage and motion picture credits include, "Where the Red Fern Grows," "Against a Crooked Sky," "Baker's Hawk," "Saturday's Warrior," "Threads of Glory" and "Debbie." Azevedo has also worked with television personalities such as Joey Heatherton, Frank Sinatra Jr., Jim Nabors and Robert Young. ( Carol Lynn Pearson, author of the book and lyrics, has published several volumes of poetry-Beginnings, poetry-Beginnings, The Search, Growing Season and has also written many screenplays, such as "The Three Witnesses" Wit-nesses" and "Cipher in the Snow." The bright, whimsical musical tells the engaging story of the pupose of life on earth in the beautifully simple language of the very young. It is everyone's story set to a script and score sparkling with wit and charm. The talented cast of "My Turn On Earth," includes 1978 Utah Best Actress Award winner Ellen Wheeler in the lead role of "Barbara." Others in the cast include Allen Hallmark as "John," M'Lisa Bailey as "Gloria," Scott Bateman as "Charles," and Michelle Larkin as "Pam." |
