Show Reunion after 35 years Five couples met in Cedar City on June 20. The men were members of the crew of the L.C.T. 481 who served together for nearly two years in the Solomon and Admiralty Islands in the South Pacific during World War Two. Some of the men had not seen each other since leaving the boat in October 1945, others not since being discharged in April 1946. It was a meeting of new friends for most of the wives. Those attending were Charles and Irene Rymer of Hamilton, Ohio, Richard and Jackie Stohl of Reedley, Calif. Raymond and Margaret Hunt of Lawrence Kansas, Floyd and Grace Ridgway of Pueblo, Colo, and Grant and Peggy, Bulloch of Cedar City, Utah. The search goes on for other members of the crew, and another reunion is planned for June of next year at Pueblo Colo. |
