Show Paro wan Little League ends season This week will wind up games in Parowan Little League with only two scheduled to finish up the season. All the boys and girls and coaches have shown admirable sportsmanship and the season has been very enjoyable for the fans. Last week the games went as follows: June 24: Fads defeated . Parowan Lumber 22 to 19. Winning Pitcher was Mitchell Mit-chell Adams with Steve Adams suffering the loss. For Fads the top hitters were Jeff Wook and Mitchell Adams each belting a triple and a single; Dean Hamill had a double and two singles and Brad Matheson had two doubles. Allen Riggs had a triple; Brad Neil had two singles and David Hamill added a single to the winning cause. In a losing evvort Lance Cranford had four singles, Mike Cartwright had a double and two singles and Brett Cranford, Sherrie Bryant, Brian Adams and Steve Adams all had singles. June 25: Bank of Iron County defeated Boyers 12 to 1. Damon Green was the winning pitcher. Green also belted two home runs and the cause was added by a home run and two doubles Matt Audtin, a double by Kim Cooper and two singles by David Green. On the mound for Boyers was Robert Hughes. They had two hits including a double by Jason Turner and a single by Darren Hyatt. June 26: Pit Stop defeated Jones Piano 5 to 3 in a close match. Ranee Bess was the winning pitcher and E. Stubbs suffered the loss. Hitting for Pit Stop Shalyn Neilson with two triples and Sean Lamoreaux with a triple. Darul Davis belted a double and singles were hit by Herbie White, Sy Smith, and Elene Trimmer. For Jones Piano it was Jason Green with a double and Calvin Johnson with a single. June 27: Bank of Iron County defeated Parowan Lumber 15 to 2 with Layne Bess the winning pitcher. Suffering the loss was Lance Cranford. Top hitter in the game was Damon Green of the Bank with a home run and a double. Matt Austin added two singles, Bob Bulter a double and Alise Jo Robb, Ken Cooper and Ed Rowley, all with singles. For Parowan Lumber Sharrisa Thornton had three singles with Brett Cranford and Kristen Allen collecting singles. June 28: Jones Piano defeated Fads 10 to 7 with Travis Johnson picking up the mound victory. Suffering the loss was Jeff Wood. Only extra base hit of the game was a double by Dean Hammill of Fads. June 28: Pit Stop defeated Boyers 15 to 2. Winning pitcher was Sean Lamoreaux with Robert Hughes suffering the loss. For Pit Stop the top hitter was Sean Lamoreaux with a home run and a single. Kance Bess also hit a double and two singles, Daryl Davis had a single and double, Herbie White and Tylor Munson had doubles and Ryan Orton and - Sy Smith each had singles. For Boyers Doug Balyes had a double, Jason Turner had two singles and John Hanks singled. |
