He will be succeeded by Willard Jones, center. Foundation names new Prexy Willard Jones had been named as the president of Valley View Health Care Foundation. He succeeds Dr. Wesley P. Larsen in that position. At the meeting of the Valley View Medical Center Board of Directors meeting held this past week Dr. Larsen was recognized for his- .outstanding .out-standing service as president of the Foundation. In a letter of commendation it was noted that "Your year in office has been marked by expanded mem-, bership, further project diversification, diver-sification, and enhancement of the Foundation's reputation and visibility. "Both the hospital and Foundation have been honored by your fulfillment of a successful term of leadership." Mr. -Jones note's, that the Foun- dation is a special arm of the hospital geared to help provide needed financing for imorovement of health care services. The Foundation has been responsible for the acquisition of much needed equipment and hopefully will continue to work for the acquisition of the latest in technical equipment and facilities to aid the hospital staff in providing the best of medical care available. |
