Show MANY SURRENDER IN PROBE OF ELECTION FA'AXSVILLK, Ind., Feb. 22. Five Republicans were among those wro sur- j rendered themselves this morning" on indictments for election frauds. They include Charles Sihler, Republican county coun-ty chairman; Frank de Jarnett, Republican Repub-lican county secretary; Charles Artes, precinct chairman; Mat FoFter and Tier-man Tier-man Euler. All were accompanied by their bondsmen. Tea Democrats, including Chief of Police Kdar Schmitt and K. B. Oslag, city controller, and two Republicans surrendered sur-rendered and were released on bond last night. A total of 122 Evansville ne.rsons fortv-one Democrats and eigtby-one Republicans Re-publicans were indicted. |
