Tills ties the Phillips five with the Central Christians, as the Christians won by forfeit, the Burlington Burling-ton Baptists failing to appear. Both have won three and lost one. The Phillips team was minus Bob Abbott, Ab-bott, who is ill in bed, as well as one of their other regulars. The Catholics j had the ball in their possession most of 1 the time and ployed an excellent passing game. The guards on the Phillips team were far off in the first half, when Duffy so- I the line of defense Improved and Duffy was shut out in an easy manner. The first half ended 25 to 5, and the lead obtained by the Catholics in this period was too much for the Phillips quint to overcome. The Catholics played a rough game.
