Notice la hereby given that James Lirsen and Andrew Iirsen, whose postoffice address is Mount Pleasant, Utah, made application in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 10S, Session Laws of Ctah, 19()fi, to appropriate ap-propriate one-tenth (.1) of a etible foot per second of water from Cottonwood Cotton-wood Spring. Millard County, Ctah. Said spring Is situated at a point 16,-3,",3 16,-3,",3 feet north and 11,393 feet east from Little Saw Tooth on Saw Tooth Mountain, which point Is In a small canyon In said range of mountains about twenty mllea in a southwesterly direction from the mouth of the So-vler So-vler River. Said water was to have been used at tho place where it Issues from said spring from October 1st of each year until April lt, inclusive, of tiie year follow ing, for stock watering water-ing purposes. The application was approved by the State Engineer July 11, 1!07, and ten months was allowed for the completion of works necessary for the appropriation if the water as contemplated by said application. The pnxr of appropriation was not made at the time required and the application applica-tion lapsed May 11, l!oH. proof of appropriation ap-propriation was made September 15, 190S, and the application was reinstated rein-stated on that date. The applicant states that the original intention was carried out as shown by the proof of appropriation, which U st variance with the original application to appropriate ap-propriate water, the proof showing that the water is not diverted from the springs at point of issuance, but at .1 point which lies 17.094 feet north and 12.4:i I feet cast of the "Little Saw Tooth" In the Saw Tooth range of mountain n Millard County, where It s u-ed during the period and for the purpose above spcritVd.
