Show Horse Knowledge. An old horseman remarked recently: recent-ly: "If a man wants to barn about horses he must learn from horses." A man to be successful must be with horses and be a close observer of their moods, manner! and makeup. A colt should be trained from the first moment mo-ment he Is helped to his feet. If taught to yield early to man's restraint re-straint and guidance he will never need "breaking." To follow his master's mas-ter's wlshei will be second nature. Never speed a colt too young, and when he Is given speed permit It for short spurts only is he can bear It. |
