Mr. Jacob C. and Sims M. Ilawley made a visit to Halt Lake this week, the former returning Sunday morning and the latter on Tuesday morning. Paul Haw b y, w ho has been in the I.. I). S. Hospital for Homo weeks with a broken limb, was removed from that place on Monday last and Is Improving Improv-ing rapidly. The mason work on J. C. Hawley's new brick house Is now completed. A pleasant dance was Indulged In last Friday evening at the Ilcliof Hall. The Millard County Lumber Company Com-pany Is now unloading a car of lumber. Thn 1'. 8. mail made Its first trip from Oasis to Fillmore last Monday. A. C. Christensen Is still In a serious condition. Sunday Professors Maughn and Gur-ley Gur-ley from the M. 8. Academy, visited us at Sunday school and meeting. They gave some very good Instructions Instruc-tions along educational lines. We cordially cor-dially Invite them to come again. Sunday evening Jessie J, Itennett and Ilcber W. Jlcckstrand nut with the people of Ousls and reorganized the Y. M. M. I. A. We now have a new operator, Mr. Johnson, who was formerly at Clear Lake. This one has brought his wife and two children, so we hope he ban come to stay. They are located in the old saloon building. |
