Mechanic Arts and Commerce, Com-merce, which uere offered for the fliHt time last year, will be enlarged this year because of the Increased de inniid from the young people of the Htnte, especially fanners' sons who cannot spend n full year In college. The roursea will begin November 7th 1911, and extend to March 17th. 1912. A term's work enn be t-iken In Ajjrl-eu'ture, Ajjrl-eu'ture, In Mechanic Arts, or In Com-inerce. Com-inerce. Flint and second year work In each course will be offered, a com blnatlon of practical training for the j farm, shop and for business and a preparation for advanced collet!" work. The courses were very popular and stteeesKful last year. The Agricultural College will hereafter here-after give courses by mall. This work has been established In response to a constant demand from many sections of the state, and was authorized at a meeting held at the college this week. Director L. A. Merrill of the Extension Exten-sion Division, will announce shortly the exact nature of the work to be given. I " |
