Show OCCURRENCES AT OAK CITY W. R. Walker, Representative i Last Sunday Sunday School ward : conference was held in the forenoon. , Stake Superintendent John Heeve of , Hinckley and Nathaniel Ashby of Leamington were In attendance. In , the afternoon primary ward conference confer-ence was held in the school house. ( Mrs. Willis Itoblnson was present from the stake authorities. ( Mr. George Seemun was visiting , with friends here Sunday. I)r. G. N. Harsh of Helta was In town last week buying some more horses. He llnds there are still , plenty to be had. , Mr. Wm. Dennett of Oasis was seen on the streets last week. LaHt Sunday the horses belonging , to Ixirenzo Christensen found their , way home from his ranch at Helta. No doubt they thought they had Just as much right to spend Sunday In Oak City as their master had In spending his Sundays in Abraham. The young ladies' party given last Friday night In honor of Mrs. Mary Lyman was a success. The older i folks certainly enjoyed themselves In i games, etc. The refreshments were something long to be remembered. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lynuin of (frayson, San Juan County, are visit- trig with relatives and friends. The basket ball season is approaching approach-ing and the Oak City boys have already al-ready had some lively games in the local gym. Why not lorrn two leagues in Millard Mil-lard County? One In the east part and one In the west part, the chain plons of each respective league to play for the county championship. It would be not only much better for everybody but would do away with fo long a track meet each spring.
