Hoover's arrival and commenioratiou of th entry of tho Polish legion into the kingdom of Poland was made a gala day. Mr. Hoover arrived in a special train, accompanied by Colonel James A. Logan, Colonel Goodrich and Lieutenant Lieuten-ant Commander G. H. iSakor and Ko.b-ert Ko.b-ert Tal't. The party vas met at tint station by Premier Paderewski and his minister, and a military escort and -crowd that cheered heartily for the man who fed Poland. Mr. Hoover is here to close up tho food relief and to inquire into the coal transportation needs of Poland. All of the personnel already have left except. Major Thomas Keade Ryan, who will stay for the interallied railways commission, com-mission, and Lieutenant K.
