"This record was built up through extensive road and luborutory tests over a period of three years. It is a fact that the Cleveland Six was ready for the market in January, .1917, but, because be-cause there was a threat of war, it was decided that its introduction should be deferred. During tho time that elapsed between 1917 and the announcement of the car last June, the engineers and designers worked steadily away, taking advantage of all the latest discoveries in automotive engineering and construction. con-struction. The result is that the Cleveland Cleve-land comes to Bait Lako a thoroughly tried and tested car.'' |
