Two members et the Utah National Guard team nnd three members of tha Vluh civilian team finished umong tha first 100 in the marina corps cup match. Lieutenant Harler won forty-sixth place with a score of m and Sergeant Van Buron scored 177. O. loe of the civilian team made the hiKhest score of the Utah shooters 1S2. Scores of other civilian marksmen from Utah in this match follow: V. Stokes, 179; F. Hogran, 176. Team No. 1, composed of six mem- . bers of the Utah civilian team, finished seventh in the state team match, the shooting being at 200 yards, rapid fire, and 500 and 1000 yards slow fire. The Vtuh team scored a total of 1533. Team No. 2 of the Utah delegation finished fortieth with a score of 1354. Two teams from the Utah National Guard also competed in this match. Utah team No. 1 finished eighth with a total of 51U, and Utah team No. Z finished thirteenth with l"5l. |
