Utes Gild Timpview The Uintah Utes will open region basketball action on the road in Provo with a game, Friday, Jan. 8 against Timpview at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Uintah will host Orem, Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and will battle bat-tle American Fork on the road, Jan. 15. Uintah will host Pleasant Grove, Jan. 22 and will take on Mountain View, Jan. 27 in Orem. Uintah will battle the Provo ) Bulldogs in Vernal, Jan. 29 and host Timpview, Feb. 9. j The Utes will encounter Orem on the road, Feb. 12 and will host American Fork. Feb. 17. Uintah will battle Plea sant Grove in an away game, Feb. 19 and will host Mountain View, Feb. 23. The Utes will clash with the Bulldogs in Provo, Feb. 26. Uintah owns a 6-1 record after five weeks of action. The Utes have toppled Union, three times and have downed South Freemont of Idaho, Tooele and Altamont. Uintah's only loss so far is a 69-40 setback to Roy in the Box Elder Tournament. Roy is one of the top 4-A teams in the state of Utah and Roy went on to place first in the Box Elder Tournament. Tour-nament. Uintah pocketed the consolation consola-tion trophy and placed fifth in the Box Elder Tournament. |
